It is also prescribed for deep wounds, osteomyelitis, dental infections, babesiosis and neosporosis. It is an excellent choice of drug for superficial and deep pyoderma with less side effects. Indications/Uses
- Treatment of infected wounds and abscesses
- Treatment of infected mouth ulcers and dental infections associated with Staphylococcus spp., Streptococcus spp. (except Streptococcus faecalis), Bacteroides spp., Fusobacterium necrophorum, and Clostridium perfringens.
- Aid dental procedures by providing antimicrobial cover
- Treatment of superficial pyoderma associated with Staphylococcus intermedius
- Treatment of osteomyelitis caused by Staphylococcus aureus
